もうすぐ終わるよ!

Well my time in Japan is swiftly coming to a close. It`s sad but it does mean that since school is pretty much over I have lots of time to have fun! Last week I had Japanese listening and speaking exams and today I just finished up my vocabulary and Kanji (Chinese character) exam. I just have to go to my last Shodo class and hand in my paper in History and then I`m all done except for my Grammar exam next Monday. So basically I have a whole week before I have to do anything and then after that I still have two weeks before I am actually coming home! It will be nice to see everyone when I head back.

Lately I`ve been keeping a balance between going out and doing fun things with friends and finishing up school work. On Saturday I went to a barbeque at my friend`s house which was a lot of fun. It`s fun (and good practice) to get to talk to other people`s host parents. I`m going to have to have everyone over one more time before leaving for sure.

I`m not entirely sure what I`ll be up to this week but I will definitely be doing day trips and such so there should be lots to write about.

Fact of the Day: In Japan the difficulty of high school and college are reversed. Students study extremely hard in high school to take college entrance exams. They often go straight from school to cram school. However, once they get into college classes are much easier and they don`t have much homework, and don`t really even have to show up every day. When I sat in on my friend`s class last week half of the students were gone.
