Well I've been off of school this whole last week and doing a whole whole lot of nothing. I've been enjoying my time relaxing at home and also trying to go out and see anything I've missed in Nagoya. It still amazes me to be in a city this big where I find places I've never been all the time. I'm sure if I lived here for years it would be the same! I'm really going to miss the big city when I come home. I am excited to drive my car again though!
On Thursday I got to go to a Dragons game! When I said they were playing the Yakult Swallows from Tokyo, Toki immediately said they were really bad and the Dragons would win. Unfortunately he was wrong, and the Dragons lost 8-5. It was a really exciting game though, and I got to see a home run! Afterwards I went and did Karaoke one last time, which was lots of fun.
Yesterday I went to Nagoya Station to go to the bookstore and ended up eating at a little cafe on the 13th floor where I could see out over Nagoya and even see the castle off in the distance. At the bookstore I got the 2nd half of the book I have been trying to read in Japanese. It's really weird, a lot of books are divided up into two or even three parts to make them small and easy to take out and read on the train. It is convenient in that respect but expensive to have to buy it in different sections.
Well I've got my final tomorrow so I'd better go study. More later!

Fact of the Day: With Japanese health care people don't have to pay a lot to go to the doctore, so they go all the time for the smallest of things. Also, the doctors are all located in hospitals so when they go they say they're going to the hospital. Imagine my surprise the first time I heard Toki wasn't feeling well so his dad took him to the hospital!
