眠い!

Not too much has been going on so far this week. The weekend was fairly uneventful, and I have spent most of my time so far in class. I started a new woodblock print last week not realizing that today would be the last day that I would be in class. This meant that I spent all the time I was at school and not in class the last two days furiously carving away. I had to cut out some detail from my original design in order to finish in time, but I think it turned out pretty well!
If you can guess who this is (and aren't mom or dad who already know) you get a cupcake! ..or recognition in my next blog..

Tonight for dinner I had salad, rice, and FISH HEADS. That's right, roly-poly fish heads. It was actually really good even though it looked scary. The meat was really just like the meat on any other part of the body. Toki really liked the eyes though! Mrs. Yurikusa and I thought that was gross.
There's Toki going for that eyeball!

That's all for now! Tomorrow in class we're starting to watch a movie! I like this whole 'being done with the book' thing! ;)

Fact of the Day: The Japanese language has words or word endings that boys say but girls don't. I think that 'boy' speech is more fun and lately I've been watching a lot of movies and tv shows with an all guy cast, so I've kind of started talking like a boy. Mrs. Yurikusa uses these words sometimes too though so it's ok ;)
