Sunday I got my homework done early and then enjoyed the rest of my day off resting up and such. On Monday I had class all day as usual, and then came home to a delicious meal of Mabodofu! Mabodofu is Tofu with some meat in a tasty sauce. When you put it on rice (which I did) it becomes Mabodon- As in Donburimono (If I lose you in the Japanese food terms, Wikipedia is helpful.. for the sake of time and space I won't explain everything). Anyway, Donburimono is one of my favorite kinds of food that I never had before coming here. I especially like when there is a partially cooked egg on top. It sounds gross but it's really delicious. Monday night we watched the WBC again. Because of the double elimination pool system Japan was playing Korea again. Unfortufnately this time they lost 1-0, but this game was really only for seeding, so they still make it to the next round, which starts next week.
When I came home today my host mom said that Toki started baseball practice today, and that when he'd come home he'd definitely say 疲れた!and 腹へった! I'm tired! and I'm hungry! Sure enough, when Toki came home he immediately threw his school bag and baseball gear on the floor, fell down, and said 腹へった!! We both got a good laugh out of that. Apparently Toki is pretty good at baseball. I'm really looking forward to getting to see him play when games start next month!

Instead of a Fact of the Day today you get pictures of school! It's kind of depressing looking especially in winter when there are no leaves on the trees, and even more so when it's a rainy day, so I had been waiting for a nice sunny day like today to take pictures. Enjoy!
The Foreign Students office- probably the happiest looking part of campus but I don't really go here much. If I turned around the other way it would be a wide open area with lots of nice yellow dead grass:
